Gloria Joy Flynn was born October 22, 1928 in Bolckow, Missouri. Following their 1978 marriage, Shirley and Don made their home in Birmingham, Alabama. She was always outgoing and easy to talk to and was able to recall people, places and events with amazing clarity. Larger than life, both in stature and personality, he lived each day as if it were a gift. Helen was united in marriage to Forrest Lee DeFrance on June 22, 1946, in St. Benedict, Iowa. He lived the majority of his life in Buffalo, NY where he was the owner and operator of the “Ellicott Square Parking Lot” and also worked for Linde Air.
